We operate 4.0 mw co-generation power plants, which are 70 percent higher efficiency rating than single generation plant, thus saving up to 2,211,910,m3 natural gas per year which is equivalent to reduce 4000-ton emission of carbon per year.
We also run 120 KW solar panels that reduce our reliance on fossil fuels.
We stay true to our environmental commitment of Zero discharge of hazardous chemicals (ZDHC), through implementing sustainable chemical management policy across the value chain, following MRSL and NEQS guidelines to achieve following validations and certifications.
CAUSTIC RECOVERY PLANT
Large quantities of diluted caustic soda (weak lye) are a waste product of Mercerization process. Caustic Recovery Plants (CRP) can turn a very large proportion of this weak lye into reusable concentrated caustic soda (strong lye) hence recover caustic soda up to 780 ton per year.
REDUCE OZONE DEPLETION
Because (CFCs) Chlorofluorocarbons contribute to ozone depletion in the upper atmosphere, the manufacture of such compounds has been phased out under the Montreal Protocol, we are fully conscious of our responsibility and we only use hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) options, for all our refrigeration requirement of chillers, air conditioning and insulation, which greatly benefits in reducing ozone depletion.
Saving our rivers and marine live is important and as responsible business enterprise, we are fully conscious of our responsibility.
We have installed fully functional effluent treatment plant (ETP) at our Mills on dedicated area of 20,000 sq feet. This plant has daily capacity to treat and clean 400,000 gallons of processed water before it is discharged into the system.
